5 Reasons I Didn't Work My Service #MyCorperDiary

With the amount of pressure and unfriendly news from other parts of the country, you need more than interest not to influence your state of deployment. I hope this might encourage someone who hopes not to alter his place of deployment. I also hope that someone who did not or could not work his state of deployment can find some encouragement.

1) I trust God

I know who goes before me
I know who stands behind
The God Of Angel Armies
He's always by my side
The One who lives forever
He is a friend of mine
The God of Angel Armies
He's always by my side

2) My Parents Trust Me
For me, this is an important part of my decision. I do not take it lightly, If they insisted, there is nothing I could have done about it. This is a product of years of interaction and many little decisions. if you have not gained trust in little things do not expect a free hand here.

3) I Believe in Nigeria
Honestly, there are a thousand and one reasons to believe otherwise. Well meaning people have looked at the situations of things and concluded "hopeless." But if there is one atom of hope anywhere, that is what I am clinging to.
I believe in the destiny of Nigeria
I believe we will rise from the ashes
I believe our cities would be desirable
They will become an abode of safety.
As a commitment of by hope, I decided not to touch it.

4) I Want to Explore
I have not had an opportunity to travel to other parts of the country. And I doubt if I will decide to someday. I needed a good reason to go exploring and I was sure NYSC will give me one.

5) I Want to Retreat
There are many ideas in our hears that need an amount of serenity and liberty to mature. I hope that i would be able to breed such in the course of this year

But if you do not have 2 or more of the above convictions, feel free to work your service. It is no sin if you do, what matters in this case is to be confident of your decision and leaning not to regret it.
